Los Angeles, CA (May 27, 2026) – In addition to its award-winning Mainstage subscription seasons, Pacific Resident Theatre (PRT) is expanding their offerings with Second Stage programming bringing contemporary comedies this summer, and surprising new theatrical treats. Leading the charge is the world premiere of Out With A Bang, a razor-sharp comedy by Tony Pasqualini, opening on the PRT Second Stage.

Featuring three longtime PRT company members, this new comedy is directed by acclaimed Emmy Award-nominated director Andrew Weyman (Fostered, A Permanent Image). The production reunites a powerhouse creative team to explore the hilarious, high-stakes world of senior living—proving that life’s third act is anything but quiet.

His ex-wife Betty – recently widowed from her second husband – arrives at his door one day and asks him to help her get revenge on a neighbor who has made her life intolerable. Eddie, longing to reawaken the love that the two of them once had, makes the fateful decision to assist in the endeavor. He enlists his good friend and next-door neighbor, a former Israeli accountant and professional mourner, Daniel. The three of them devise a dangerous and blatantly illegal plot to deal with her recalcitrant neighbor.
